Jodie Batchelor
Jodie is the current Victorian Vets Criterium and Road champion in her age group. She has been racing for several years now and likes any event that involves sprinting and not too many hills. She initially used cycling as an important part of her rehabilitation from a mountaineering accident in New Zealand. She then got into racing as a replacement for martial arts in which she represented Australia and won Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in the Martial Arts World Games in 2000.

There are 2 ride options both for teams or individuals

112 km A classic ride for individuals and teams around the Mornington Peninsula. This ride has it all ... flat and fast; twisty and technical; easy and cruisy; scenic and challenging. Test yourself up Arthur's Seat, enjoy the exhilaration of the descent, cruise along by the Peninsula's famous beaches and test yourself through the hills by the back beaches on your way to Flinders. Stop for a coffee in Flinders, regroup and cruise back to Mornington via Balnarring. Riders will be timed from the start at Mornington Park to Flinders, a distance of 66km.

60km - Enjoy the company of 500 other riders as you ride a mostly flat and friendly course along the beaches of the Mornington Peninsula. This ride is not timed. Roll down to the foreshore from Mornington and cruise along the beachfront. Stop for coffee, enjoy the atmosphere, even stop for a swim! Then cycle back to the finish at Mornington Park via Safety Beach and Martha Cove and enjoy the bike festival atmosphere.
