2011 Cycling-Inform Masters Games Team

We are putting together a Cycling-Inform team for the cycling events at the 13th Australian Masters Games in Adelaide 7-16 October 2011.

By joining the team you'll get access to our fantastic remote coaching program and discounts on a special Cycling-Inform 13th Australian Masters Games cycling kit and our other products and services.

You'll be assigned your own personal coach that will be helping you with your every pedal stroke leading up to the Games. You'll also be able to tap into our cycling community for additional support in your lead up and while the games are on.

Any masters athlete in Australia can join the team.

Events

Road:
Criterium                 - 30mins + 2 laps (Men’s Categories 1, 2 & 3 – 40mins + 2 laps)
Individual Time Trial  - 17km
Road Race              - Men 17km - 88km, Women 17km - 52km

Track:
Time Trial                - 500m (Men’s Categories 1, 2, 3 & 4 – 750m)
Sprint
Individual Pursuit      - 2000m (Men’s Categories 1, 2, 3, 4 – 3000m)
Scratch Race

Additional cycling information for UCI Road and Track

Participants must hold a 2011 Cycling Australia (CA) or UCI Licence in order to participate in the cycling events. You will need to present your CA or UCI Licence when registering prior to the start of competition. (Australian Veteran Cycling Council Licences not applicable.)

If you do not hold a 2011 UCI or CA Licence, you will be required to purchase a Cycling Australia event permit for $15.00 (cash) when registering at the Road/Track venue prior to the start of competition.

Road participants with road bicycles may only compete on the track in the disciplines of 500m Time Trial and Individual Pursuit events.

Additional cycling information for MTB

Requirements and procedures for age verification: Participants are required to have their driver’s licence, birth certificate or passport for age verification.

International entrants will need to have proof of insurance covering them for medical expenses and medical evacuation whilst mountain biking in Australia.
