Which Trainer should I buy?
The best trainer to purchase is one that provides the best “road feel”. That is, they produce a similar resistance feel to the road. One of the most important things to help with motivation is to ride on a trainer that feels right. It’s important also to ensure that you buy the right type of trainer for your purpose. Unfortunately there are a lot of trainers on the market today that look great but are fundamentally floored in their design. Many bike shops (regardless of being informed or not) will sell you any trainer they have on their shop floor without actually ensuring that it meets your training requirements. So buyers beware.
