Jodie Batchelor
Jodie has been racing for several years now and likes any event that involves sprinting and not too many hills. She initially used cycling as an important part of her rehabilitation from a mountaineering accident in New Zealand. She then got into racing as a replacement for martial arts in which she represented Australia and won Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in the Martial Arts World Games in 2000.

Clare on her way to claiming 3rd overall GC in Womans B Grade

This year Cycling-Inform had nine representatives in six grades of the Tour of Bright.

For most this was their first tour. Friday evening David took some of the riders down to stage one's finish line and stage two's  Time Trial course to ensure that they were familiar with them. David was also the coach, team gofer and mechanic for the weekend.

There were a few mishaps during the tour. Myra unfortunately had an accident on stage one and was not able to continue with the tour. Harry also had mechanical issues on the same stage and his final results certainly does not reflect the form he was in coming into the tour.

Clare in her first tour achieved fantastic results with 3rd in the first stage, 2nd in the TT and 4th in the final stage, finishing in 3rd overall.
