Cycling-Inform State Championship Results Vic & NSW

Some of the Cycling-Inform riders participated in there state ITT and Road Championships over the last couple of weekends. With tough competition across all age groups medals were hard to come by. Congratulations to Danny, Sue and Jodie all collecting Bronze medals.

In Victoria the ITT and Road Race were held at Harcourt. The ITT has 64 riders contesting the championships. Held on Saturday over 20km on the Old Calder Hwy; featuring some good hills, then a relatively flat section in the middle of the course. Heading out up the hills with a tail wind and back with a tail wind and the later riders including all the women got a good drenching of rain.

On Sunday there were over 130 riders contesting road races in their respective divisions.  The courses were very challenging with the notable Langs Hill at the start and the North Harcourt hills towards the finish.  This resulted in a lot of riders not finishing their race.

The NSW ITT Championships were held on the 24th July at Jones Rd, Calga a 20km circuit.

Sue Tierney – NSW State ITT championships – WMAS5 - 3rd. Well done Sue. Great result!

On Sunday 31st July NSW held the Sydney Road Championships where the riders did laps of the
Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith Lakes.
