Mixed results in stage four of the 2009 Giro

Jens Voigt, in true Richard Virenque style, breaks away and picks up a large number of KOM primes in stage 4. He's caught around 2km to go. Armstrong had a big day out and drops off just before the finish. Same with Michael Rogers who pops off before Armstrong and loses six seconds on GC but still holds onto third place. Danilo Di Luca brings it home in a super fast sprint finish. It's so fast that I have to remind myself that he's still going up hill!
