Graham Taylor improves his sprint in just 5 weeks!
Training report from Graham Taylor. Graham joined our remote coaching program just 5 weeks ago and here is his report:
Total of 260kms for the week. Cadence was down a little on the days I was using the fixi while trying to keep my heart rate in the correct zone. On race day I felt really comfortable with the race. My average HR was down on what it normally is (and I was only 14 seconds off my PB) and with about 3kms to go I still had plenty left in the tank and was able to break away from my handicap bunch and jump on the back of a much faster bunch that had just passed us, and I even managed to out sprint a couple of those guys with about 500m to go. Something I have never been able to do in the past. Thanks David!!! Now that I’m riding the fixi for the recovery and base rides, I’ve just got to work on getting the cadence up a little more. Felt really good with the training this week.
