Peter gets his first win in B Grade!

Peter has been on the program for a short while and has been training really hard. I've also spent quite a bit of time working with him on his race craft. Here is his race report from his first win in B grade.

I had my first win in B Grade at Southern Vets last Sunday.   I was fresh at the start after an easy week and tried to ride a sensible race after plenty of advice over the past months from David.  I did my share of work but didn’t get carried away.  It was a windy day and with the group riding in the gutter with the cross-winds there weren’t too many places to hide and probably tired the sprinters a bit.  There was an early solo break that stayed away for 6 of 8 laps but it came down to a bunch sprint.  I had a great lead out from a friend, Phil Purdam and with 250 to go and a couple of guys passing on the inside I went for it and those hill sprints paid off.  Very happy with this.
