Going long

While I'm putting in some big km's in preparation for the Melbourne to Warrnambool, praying that I’ve done enough.... I’ve had a couple of updates come through from two Cycling-Inform riders on the coaching program who have embarked on some truly epic rides.
Pictured above is Peter Smith (looking like he has has a big day). He has come onto the remote coaching program "just to get fit". He has only started riding this year. On Monday he started an epic ride from Adelaide to Melbourne. Latest update came through today... "650km down - all good except sore butt".
Another rider, Gareth Evans (not pictured) has just completed the Epic Audax Perth-Albany-Perth 1000 ride in 69h20. His update texted through today.. "Finished the Perth Albany Perth 1000 in 69h20. Day two was the hardest, day 3 went like a dream. Moved back up the field and finished feeling really strong. Very pleased. Thanks for all your help, Gareth"
Well done Peter and Gareth, you are both champions. I love working with riders that have such an enthusiasm for riding. Peter and Gareth are two gems.
