I am pretty excited as Luke smashed them tonite at Sandown. He went off the front with 5 to go with one other rider. All looked strong at 3 to go and his help blew up!

Luke kept it going and at 2 to go had approx 200 meters. At 1 and a 1/2 laps out A grade caught B grade and I thought that would be the end, but A flew by them quickly. At the bell Luke was 40 meters in front of A and B was about 40 meters behind the last rider in A.

So Luke had a gap of approx 200 meters at the bell. He smashed himself up the headwind home straight and maintained his gap to the back straight.

At the top of the climb they were coming at him fast and the gap was only 100 meters. He hammered it down thru the chicane increased his lead as the bunch hesitated. He sprinted to the line approx 50 meters clear. He is wrapt and so am I. For the last 3 laps his H/R was 207 bpm!
