Training Camp for Bicycle Victoria's Team Degani 3 Peaks Challenge now taking enrolments

Cycling-Inform is proud to be the offical training camp provider for
Bicycle Victoria's Team Degani 3 Peaks Challenge. Make sure you make it
around on the day. Based out of the YMCA at
Howman's Gap, just 4km from the top of Falls Creek. Take part in the
Team Degani 3 Peaks Challenge official training camp with us and Bicycle
Victoria. Brush up on all the skills and climbing practise you'll need
to succeed.

New Evening Indoor trainer classes at BikePark

Today we are announcing that we are introducing two new indoor cycling
workout classes down at BikePark in the evening. They are on Monday's and
Thursday's and will start at 5:30pm and go for the hour.
First one is schedueled for Monday the 13 September.
Pre enrolment is important to ensure that you don't miss out.

Great weekend of racing for Cycling-Inform riders

2010 CCCC second Les O'Mara Handicap
Brendan Rowbotham and Steph Ives placed well in CCCC's second 2010 edition of the Les O'Mara Handicap. Brendan placing 3rd and Steph getting 1st fastest woman. Mel's full race report can be found here. Danny Kah finished 12th.

2010 Victorian Masters Road Championships
WMAS4+ - Jane Hill, 1st place
WMAS3 - Jodie Batchelor, 3rd place
MMAS3 - David Heatley - 9th place
MMAS5 - Laurie Paltridge - 5th place
Special mention to Elizabeth Hall, 2nd place in WMAS3 and Gavin Wright, 11th place in MMAS3. Both Bright Boot Camp attendies.
Men's Masters 5
Laurie Paltridge has only been on the coaching program for a few months now is showing fantastic results. He was wrapped with a 5th place in MMAS5 and being there in the sprint finish.
Woman's Masters 4+
Well done to Jane Hill to become another State champion under the Cycling-Inform coaching program. This has been a fantastic result for Jane after her return to racing this year after major back surgery last year.

Sport Leadership Grants for Women

Recently Carly and myself (Jodie) were awarded grants from the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) under the Sport Leadership Grants for Women.
Carly's grant is for her to pursue her cycle coaching goal and my grant is towards me pursuing my cycling officiating goals. The grants are awarded annually. Carly was recently featured on the ASC web site in relation to her grant, to read that article click here.
