World Police & Fire Games
Cycling-Inform have sponsored Damian Vendy with cycling kit for his participation in the World Police & Fire Games being held later this year in New York City.

The World Police & Fire Games being held in New York City and only a month away now. Just to give you some background the games are being held in NYC to co-inside with the ten year anniversary of the World Trade Centre attacks and as such the city has got right behind the games.To date approx 14 thousand participants are attending the games from all over the world.
I will be competing in most cycling events, representing Cycling Inform/Victoria Police in the road race, time trial, criterium, sprint and some track events. The really exciting news is that the road race and criterium are being held in Central Park and I'm told that this is a first for cycling and can't wait to compete.
Just a little background on myself is that I am a member of Victoria Police and have been for the past 20 years. I am a serving Detective at South Melbourne CIU and member of Southern Vets Cycling Club. Training has been going well for the event and I start racing this weekend in the Masters Road Race in Harcourt/Castlemaine.
