As part of our Warny preparation we have about 10 Motor pacing sessions booked for most Saturdays leading up to the race. This past Saturday was our 2nd session. There is usually 4-5 of us swapping turns behind the bike. This is a great race-simulation workout. Behind the bike you're working at tempo rate. By the time you slip back to 5th wheel you're biting the handlebars and counting the seconds till you back on the bike. The great thing is it's actually harder than a race. In a race when you get dropped, your day is over and you just poodle home. When you get dropped motor pacing, the bike waits and paces you back on for more pain and suffering. Since Barney can't join us on Saturdays, he usually races the vets on a Sunday. Accordingly, he pulled off another win at Lang Lang
