EPIC SARDINIA and GIRONA CYCLING TOURS

Sierra Sports & Tours and Cycling-Inform are pleased to present two packages for cyclists for 2026. Epic Sardinia cycling tour that includes a full bucket list of epic climbs straight from the Giro d’Italia pro-cycling race. It’s a great mix of climbs, undulating roads, spectacular beaches, and quiet roads, which make Sardinia a must for all adventurous road cyclists. Epic Girona, discover why Girona and the Costa Brava region are considered by many as the place to be when it comes to road cycling. The roads zip along the Mediterranean coast, cross over interior mountains, visit spectacular lakes and climb up to some simply breathtaking lookout points.

The collaboration with Sierra Sports and Tours

Our story dates back to 2014 when we met at Peaks Challenge to assess ideas for future collaboration. By 2015, Paul from Sierra Sports and Tours rode a Cycling-Inform Bright Boot Camp to kick start his European cycling guide training. Jodie and David, in the same European spring, were conquering the cobbles and pave at Flanders and Roubaix with Paul as their guide. In 2017, Cycling-Inform was back in Europe with Sierra on some of the biggest alpine passes at La Vuelta a España. To follow the professional riders, Cycling-Inform also joined Sierra at the 2019 Criterium du Dauphine. We have also joined Sierra Sports and Tours in 2023 for the Epic French Alps and the Epic Italian Alps, and again in 2025 on tour for the Epic Pyrenees and the Epic Italian Alps.

Cycling-Inform and many of their clients have experienced Sierra Sports and Tours first-hand and thoroughly recommend them, that’s why we keep going back! With the logistical support from Paul and his Sierra team, their European base and equipment, and being able to handle all the logistics on tour, you just get to enjoy the ride and the adventure.

Between tours, there will be a three-night stopover in Barcelona to make it easy for those who want to double up on the cycling action.

You get to choose to attend either or both tours.

The tours are fully supported by a comfortable nine-seater van, experienced lead cycling guides, bike mechanics and massage therapists.

Each tour group is capped at 15 riders to keep the experience intimate and to provide excellent support to all guests, so make sure you get in quickly!

This Epic Sardinia cycling tour boasts some of the most beautiful cycling landscapes in Europe and includes a full bucket list of epic climbs straight from the Giro d’Italia pro-cycling race. The cycling tour will start from Olbia and move directly into the medium mountains which dissect inland Sardinia and crosses over to the west coast. What makes this tour EPIC in our opinion is the great mix of climbs, undulating roads, spectacular beaches and quiet roads which make Sardinia a must for all adventurous road cyclists. Captivating locations that you will never forget, including Torre dei Corsari, Cappo Caccia, the Alghero-Bosa road and the beach out to Argentiera.
